Inspiration behind the style: rose-inspired earrings
Updated: Jul 10, 2019
Have you ever seen a rose bush with the most creamy pink and peach-y hues? A rose where the layers of color seem to be endless, just like the petals? It's exactly this type of rose that inspired these earrings! We had a rose bush that fit this description in my childhood back yard, and that memory -- and the pure joy that the colors gave me -- is channeled into this design.
Some of these roses have a predominately creamy white hue (represented by the freshwater pearls in the rose-inspired earrings).
Some are more orange-heavy, which is why the peach moonstone is featured. But see how there is a subtle pink in there too??
Some roses really have it all -- light pink (in the earrings as rose quartz), orange tones, and even some yellow too! That's why these earrings were made with 14k gold.
But just in case you think I'm totally rose-biased, there are other flowers that jive with this color palette, like these dahlias!
Absolutely stunning colors! #naturescolorpalette continually inspires!
